Working principle of deodorizing activated carbon air filter:
Physical adsorption
Using the pore structure of activated carbon, molecular pollutants (such as formaldehyde, benzene, odor, etc.) in the air are captured through van der Waals force.
Chemical adsorption
Through the impregnation of the agent and the gas to react chemically, harmless substances are generated, which is suitable for treating acidic gases (SO₂, HCl), alkaline gases (NH₃), etc.

Use and Maintenance
Replacement cycle
1.Home use: 6-12 months (shortened to 3-6 months in heavy pollution).
2.Industrial: 3-6 months (more frequent in high-concentration environments).
Regeneration method
1.Exposure: 4-6 hours in the sun to restore some activity (cannot be regenerated indefinitely).
2.Baking: Industrial activated carbon can be desorbed and regenerated at high temperature (100-150℃).
Precautions
1.Do not wash with water (activated carbon will become ineffective when exposed to water).
2.Avoid high temperature and high humidity environment (reduce adsorption efficiency).
