The HEPA mini pleat air filter belongs to the category of high-efficiency air filter (HEPA), and its core features include:
No partitions: The aluminum or paper partitions in the traditional partitioned filter are abandoned.
Dense pleat structure: The ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper (or other high-efficiency filter materials) are folded into tight, continuous V-shaped or wavy pleats.
Bonding and shaping: The two ends of the pleats are firmly bonded to the outer frame through special polyurethane glue or other high-strength adhesives to form many stable airflow channels.
The working principle of the HEPA mini pleat air filter is based on physical mechanisms such as direct interception, inertial impact, diffusion effect and electrostatic adsorption. When air is forced through these dense and deep filter material pleats, pollutants such as dust particles, bacteria, and virus aerosols can be efficiently captured.
