Product Introduction

The HEPA mini pleat air filter belongs to the category of high-efficiency air filter (HEPA), and its core features include:

 

 

No partitions: The aluminum or paper partitions in the traditional partitioned filter are abandoned.

 

Dense pleat structure: The ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper (or other high-efficiency filter materials) are folded into tight, continuous V-shaped or wavy pleats.

 

Bonding and shaping: The two ends of the pleats are firmly bonded to the outer frame through special polyurethane glue or other high-strength adhesives to form many stable airflow channels.

The working principle of the HEPA mini pleat air filter is based on physical mechanisms such as direct interception, inertial impact, diffusion effect and electrostatic adsorption. Production Process of HEPA Mini Pleat Air Filter

 

 

HEPA mini pleat air filters are made by first pleating a glass fiber filter media into tight, small folds, then using hot-melt adhesive to fix the pleats and form the filter pack.

The filter pack is then sealed into a durable housing, often with a gel seal for a leak-free fit. This design increases the filter's effective surface area and reduces air resistance, making it highly efficient at capturing airborne particles.

A:The ceiling space of the operating room is usually ≤300mm. The high-efficiency filter without partition (thickness ≤90mm) can save 50% of the installation space, and the lightweight (≤10kg) reduces the load-bearing pressure of the ceiling. With the low resistance characteristics, it reduces the energy consumption of air conditioning and is more suitable for the laminar flow system of the operating room. ​

Q: Can it be used in a high-temperature environment above 80℃? ​

A: The temperature resistance of ordinary models is ≤80℃. If it exceeds, it is necessary to customize the high-temperature resistant glue line + glass fiber filter material (temperature resistance ≤120℃), but the efficiency will be slightly reduced (H13 level drops to 99.95%@0.3μm). High-efficiency filter with partition is preferred in high-temperature scenes.​

Q: How does the selection of the pre-filter affect its lifespan? ​

A: The front end needs to be equipped with F9-level sub-high efficiency and H11-level sub-high efficiency filters in sequence, which can intercept more than 95% of 1μm particles and extend the lifespan of the high-efficiency filter without partition to 2 years; if only F8-level medium efficiency is used, the lifespan is about 8-12 months, and the comprehensive cost increases by 2 times.
