Product Definition

The automatic roll filter is a new type of air purification device based on dynamic filtration technology. Its core principle involves a motor driving a reel of filter media, allowing fresh filter media to automatically replace the clogged section based on signals from a differential pressure sensor or a timer. This process enables continuous filtration without the need for frequent manual disassembly and replacement.

The combination of the roll-up filter media, a high-precision transmission system, and an intelligent control system creates a filtration mode of "dynamic updating and continuous purification." This innovative design makes the filter widely applicable in various industrial and residential applications that require stable air quality, effectively solving the key drawbacks of traditional filters: short replacement cycles, high maintenance costs, and rapid degradation of filtration efficiency.

Application

Industrial Production

In semiconductor and chip manufacturing facilities, automatic roll-up filters prevent contamination of precision components and reduce product defect rates. In automotive plants, they protect spray-painting equipment and ensure finish quality. In food processing and pharmaceutical production environments, where hygiene requirements are extremely high, these filters are used with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to create effective multi-stage filtration systems.

Commercial and Public Buildings

In crowded places such as shopping malls, office buildings, and hotels, these filters are used in central air conditioning systems to improve indoor air quality by reducing pollutants and lowering energy consumption. In hospital outpatient and inpatient departments, they help reduce the risk of cross-infection, providing a safer environment for patients and staff.

Special Environments

In heavy industrial plants like those for steel, metallurgy, and cement, the filters pre-treat air with high dust concentrations, protecting downstream equipment and extending its service life. In data centers, automatic roll filters prevent blockages in server cooling systems, ensuring stable equipment operation.

Advantages

 Ensures production continuity

The system requires no downtime for filter replacement, significantly improving equipment utilization.

Reduces energy costs

It maintains low-resistance operation, which effectively cuts fan energy consumption and achieves long-term savings.

Offers environmental and safety benefits

The dirty filter media is tightly wound onto the take-up reel, allowing for centralized handling and preventing the re-release of dust.

Lowers maintenance costs

It reduces the labor and material costs associated with frequent filter purchases and replacements.

Improves system reliability

It provides effective protection for downstream medium- and high-efficiency filters and host equipment, extending their service life.

Maintenance and Care Guide

Daily Inspection

Check the operating parameters on the automatic roll filter's display to confirm the remaining filter media, current resistance, and motor status.
Inspect the device casing for damage and check for loose seals. If you find any abnormalities, contact customer service immediately.
Observe the air quality from the outlet. If there is noticeable dust or odor, check that the filter media type is compatible and that it was installed correctly

Filter Media Replacement (Every 3-6 months)

Turn off the power to the device. Open the filter media cover and remove the used media, being careful not to spill dust.
Install the new filter media in the designated position, ensuring it is even and free of wrinkles or misalignment.
After installation, turn the power back on and use the "Filter Media Reset" function to calibrate the media position. Confirm normal operation, then close the cover.

Regular Cleaning (Once per month)

Wipe the device housing and display with a dry cloth to remove surface dust.
Open the air inlet screen and use compressed air to blow out any large particles from the inside out.
Clean the sensor ports to prevent dust buildup from affecting detection accuracy. Do not use water or detergents to clean the inside of the device.

Maintenance During Long-Term Inactivity (More than one month)

Turn off and unplug the device.
Remove any unused filter media rolls. Store them in a sealed bag in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
Clean the inside and outside of the device. Apply a small amount of special lubricant to the motor bearings.
Cover the device with a dust cover.
Before restarting, check the filter media and all wiring. Only reactivate the power after confirming everything is correct.

FAQ

Q: What are the main advantages of an automatic roll filter over a traditional plate filter?

A: The main advantages are automation and continuity. The filter automatically renews its media without requiring a system shutdown, ensuring 24/7 operation.

Q: Is replacing a roll of filter media complicated? How long does it take?

A: It's very simple! The process typically takes only 5 to 10 minutes.

Q: How long does a roll of filter media typically last?

A: The lifespan depends on the ambient dust concentration and air volume; there is no standard lifespan.

Q: Can this filter be used as a final filter?

A: It is typically used as a primary or pre-filter. It is designed to be used in combination with medium- and high-efficiency filters to form a complete and cost-effective multi-stage filtration system.
