PTEF filter media is an industrial filter medium made of polytetrafluoroethylene material with excellent hydrophobicity and biological inertness. It can achieve high efficiency sterilization in wet or dry environment, and can filter out 100% of bacteriophages in gas.It uses a polypropylene skeleton structure and are produced in a dust-free environment. They have uniform pore size distribution and excellent chemical corrosion resistance. It is widely used in pharmaceuticals, electronics, environmental protection and other fields.

Working Principle

Screening effect

PTFE filter media has a small and uniform pore size. When air flows through, particles larger than the pore size will be directly intercepted on the surface of the filter media. Its working principle is similar to that of a sieve, which can effectively block large particles of dust, pollen, bacteria and other impurities.

Inertial collision

Particles in the air have inertia in the airflow. When the airflow carries particles through the micropores of the PTFE filter media, the particles will deviate from the direction of the airflow due to inertia and hit the fiber surface of the filter media, thereby being captured.

Diffusion effect

For extremely small particles, such as nano-scale particles, they will perform irregular Brownian motion in the air. When passing through the PTFE filter media, these small particles will contact the fiber surface of the filter media due to diffusion motion and be adsorbed.
