Maintenance and Replacement Guidelines
Regular Monitoring
Regularly inspect the filter frame, filter media, and filtration efficiency. When filtration efficiency drops below 85% of its initial value, or when resistance reaches twice its initial resistance, the mini pleated ULPA air handler filter must be replaced.
Installation Precautions
Before installation, thoroughly clean the installation space to prevent impurities from damaging the filter media. During installation, ensure that the filter media is wrinkle-free and that the frame and sealing surface are in perfect contact.
Replacement cycle
Usually 6 to 12 months, the specific replacement time depends on the dust concentration in the environment. Filter media replacement intervals in semiconductor cleanrooms can be as long as 9 to 12 months, while laboratories in industrial areas require replacement every 6 to 9 months.
Waste Disposal
Glass fiber filter materials are inorganic materials. If they have not come into contact with toxic substances, they can be treated as general industrial waste. If the filter materials have come into contact with pathogens or chemicals, they must be disposed of in accordance with relevant hazardous waste regulations.
